This hackathon hosted by CSU East Bay and Chabot College is intended to encourage students at all skill levels to collaborate and get project experience. Whether you're a freshman with no experience or a senior with a few projects under your belt, this event is for you!


There will also be several workshops over the weekend designed to help you not just with the hackathon projects but to help make you better programmers overall.

For CSU East Bay students: Any Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science majors

For Chabot College students: Any student

No, competitors cannot work on their project prior to the beginning of the event although brainstorming potential ideas is allowed.

Each team can have up to 4 people.

No, you can compete solo if you'd like but there will be opening activities to aid in the team creation process.

Yes, there will be plenty of food and snacks throughout the event provided by CSU East Bay's dining commons! Refer to the schedule for breakfast and lunch times.

There will be a range of cool swag items such as t-shirts and tote bags that all participants receive. There will also be great rewards like giftcards, keyboards, SSDs, and more for winners!
